So many of our guests return to us eager to visit the tasting rooms of amazing wineries like Fenn Valley, breweries like Bell’s, and hard cider tasting rooms like Virtue. The newest trend cropping up are the distint distilleries in Southwest Michigan. We’re happy to direct our guests to some of the best.
CopperCraft Distillery
Tours, cocktails, and flights, oh my! CopperCraft Distillery offers all three in an industrial chic atmosphere perfect for a tasting on the way back home from the downtown farmer’s market or beach. Grab a spirits flight at the bar or a specialty cocktail, or take a tour (see the schedule here>).
Royal Recommendation: Coppercraft is a little out of the way from downtown Holland but the atmosphere and amazing spirits make it well worth the trip.
New Holland Brewing
Located in downtown Holland, New Holland Brewing produces it’s own line of spirits (notably Knickerbocker Gin). Enjoy their their downtown 8th street brewpub location, and a craft brew or craft cocktail.
Round Barn Distillery
The Round Barn Distillery offers spirits (and wines) that you can sip and savor in the tasting room in Baroda, Michigan. Round Barn also has a brewery and public house in Baroda.
*Royal Recommendation: Because of it’s location, Round Barn is ideal for guests needing a stopping point on their way to our Inn or the way back from Chicago area (about an hour drive from our Inn).
Journeyman Distillery
Extend your vacation by stopping into Journeyman Distillery on your way back home. Located in Three Oaks, Michigan, Journeyman is the perfect stopping point on the way to our Inn or back home. Schedule a tour, and view their many food and spirit options.

St. Julian Winery
Located in Paw Paw, Michigan (just off 1-94 for guests coming from Chicago or Detroit), St. Julian Winery offers award-winning wine and a line of Hard Ciders (Gunga-Din). Their tasting options include over 40 wines as well as their Grey Heron Vodka and A&G Brandy.
